I think he just ignored the back injury question and talked about he isn't worried about the new drummer, Sum 41 will have one when it's time.

However, I think both Holy Image of Lies and Sick of Everyone could've been expanded by a couple minutes each. There were so many good ideas and melodies in those songs.
But that's the point of Prog. It's not supposed to be Verse-Chorus-same verse- same chorus- bridge- same chorus. If the three parts of Dark Road were split up "properly" into three songs, they'd all be much more boring.

I didn't mean splitting up the songs or even having repeating parts, just that certain areas of Holy Image of Lies and Sick of Everyone could be expanded upon and make it flow better. The reason I outed Happiness Machine is because it's that verse-chorus-verse structure and not really the one that fits the whole prog thing going on with the rest of the song.

It annoys me that the chorus of BYDWK goes : "What I'm gonna do, not around".
Is it just me or doesn't he sing the "...when you're..." ?

Do what you want, but don't be proud,
'Cause baby, you don't wanna know
What I'm gonna do when you're not around.
No baby, you don't wanna know.

Although it might sound like he leaves the "when you're" part out, but if you listen very closely, he actually sings like "whnyre not around". :silly:

Like Tomi said he does sing the you're part. Doesn't annoy me.
What does however, is the fact that the melody in the "Baby you don't wanna know, baby you don't wanna know"-part is straight out of some annoying 2000's(?) pop-song, but i just can't figure out what..
But I'm 100% there's this one popular song with the same melody. :P Props to whomever can figure out which song...

There is something about the riff of Baby You Don't Wanna Know that kind of annoys me. It's somewhat choppy, I kind of wish it flowed better.

If anyone did, I'd be interested to see what they got. It was such a sham. It was a U.S. store only deal and you could see that they only had mostly women's shirts available. I don't understand why they wouldn't put a CD in there though considering the shirts cost more than that...

Still not sure why the U.K. store has the only good merchandise.

I believe that they're in Deryck's house. I remember seeing the pool room in an update for SBM, so that explains the Sum 41 memorabilia. I also noticed towards the end, I think Deryck is slouched over the stairs, could hear him in one part as well.

don't know if there's already a thread about it or something in the media section, but I was wondering if by any chance anyone could provide me with a decent quality mp3 of deryck's morning glory cover ? The one I got from YT sounds terrible.

I remember people were getting upset at how they overused the word "soon" while making this album.
I'd have to admit, it was better knowing soon than nothing at all.
