oh cut the bullshit, there is dozens of bands that deserve their own game before Green Day does. maybe ten years from now, after they've broken up they could get it, but not now. They're basically at the peak of their career right now and a game of they're music now would be a waste, they probably have a few more albums left in them so why not wait until then?

I want to get it so I can sing Holiday. It's the only song ever that I can sing well.

American Idiot is the worst thing to ever happen to Green Day. It made Green Day... well the next Blink-182.

Exactly what I thought !

I used to love Green Day, I still love them, but all this excitement about them just makes me sick. I went to one of their shows, and all I can say is that 99% of the people there were just kids screaming Billiiiiiiiiiiiieeeeeee, and to be honest that just makes me sick. I really think other bands deserve it more than green day.

Fuckin money !

This. The videogame companies or whatever know lots of little kiddies like Green Day now thanks to American Idiot. How many 12-13 year olds do you know that listen to the Foo Fighters? Probably not as many as those that listen to Green Day.

It's just like The Beatles. Rock Band must've made a shitload off of that game.

Green Day are huge and an extremely good band. They deserve their own version of Rock Band.

American Idiot is the biggest thing to ever happen to Green Day and one of the biggest things to happen that changed music and people who listen to music. So what if lots of "little kiddies" now know of Green Day? This proves how huge American Idiot actually was.

PS. Foo Fighters aren't that great.

Edit: After reading most of your posts it seems that Green Day probably have a different fan base in America than they do in the UK. I didn't see many "kids" when I saw them live, mostly adults (surprisingly?!) and people my age.

Well, Max the show I went to was in France, and I can assure you there were many kids. You're right, maybe the audience isn't the same for all countries, but, for me, it totally destroyed the show. Green Day isn't the same now, and I must admit it will take time for me to get it. To my mind, this game is just another source of money for videogames companies and labels, that's all.

I think you're right because there were more adults in at the concert in Bullet in a Bible and I have this critical review of American Idiot and it's mostly reviewed by people from the UK. I don't know why, but that seems to be the trend.

Fucking hell, the last 3 posts have said exactly the same thing and it's not even a relevant thing. No one's saying that just cuz other people like Green Day, fans should stop liking them. It's just evident how Green Day has opened up to much larger audiences and by doing so, they have changed their musical style in many ways. In other words, they've sold out.

First of all, you are the ones being idiots, I have never liked Green Day so don't start yer pish with me, I don't have a go at you if you don't like music like Lamb of God or any other band that I might like and you don't do I, no because I'm not a little bitch. So please stop being such fan-boys and stick yur head out of Green Day's arse and let people like or dislike music the way they see fit.

Okay bud? I don't have a go at you. And it seems that the people that have a go at us, do like Green Day, or did at least.

What I really want is an depth explanation of how Green Day went from better to worse. I want to see someone explain the musicality and variation in the albums you liked, and in the ones you don't.

Green Day won't be a challenge for most. The "master's" of this game, prolly won't buy it.

I think more people will buy the game based on whether or not they like Green Day's music as opposed to the difficulty of actually playing the music. I mean, they made a Rock Band game for The Beatles right? Plus, it's more of a social type thing than anything.
