hey, ya I was down in LA at the end of Oct. to practice with the rest of the band for about 10 days. I go back in about 2 weeks and we continue to practice for a bit and then start pre production with our producer for a few weeks. We will start recording our new album in the middle of Jan. and will probably take a few months.

Take a few months? I'm telling you, this album will be pushed back until fall 2010 or whatever. They can pull a-AKNF/DTLI and record it really quick like in a month , just go nuts, but I see they are taking their time like with UH. They recorded UH for 5 months, between November 2006 and March 2007. So think if they'll record now for so much time, it would probably be done until May-June, then mixing & mastering for two-three months...

I've no clue how long it should take after that to go gold.
Album out by when? June, July? Summer? 41? Beginning of August?

yeah Cone said they start pre pro Dec. 1st, I guess thats still happening, it should still be out by the summer/early fall. I'm sure we'll get sneak previews and behind the scenes stuff so its not too bad

Hah. Fail. :| That's all I can really say. I hate how they have to keep getting our hopes up then letting us down again. That's why I've forgotten about them for the time being and until they actually DO something, I don't really care.

Yeah, Its not that bad I guess. Mitch Allan of SR-71 has been working on his album since the spring of 2006. He even released a single with a music video in 2008 (although it was SR-71 re-recording) and put up some songs on his Myspace but nobody really knows whats happening with that album, except the fact that SR-71 played one show in some festival in Chicago and are set to do another show on the 25th of November.
