Green Day @ Antwerp, Belgium on October 17th 2009.
Fucking. Greatest. Show. Ever.
When I saw Sum 41 in London, UK on February last year, I thought no concert would get any better than that.
But I was wrong.
Even though I like Sum 41's music better, the 50-minute Sum-show was in a whole different league than this 2h 30min spectacle.
I hadn't really checked any Green Day live performances anywhere, so I only had thoughts of what to expect.
But this was something I couldn't have imagined.
The energy between the crowd and the band was just amazing. BJ was playing with the crowd in every single song, taking people on stage like on every other song they played.
The song King For A Day just sumed it up, the athmosphere was just too great to describe.
The only downside of the show was the size of my memory card in my camera (4GB), which wasn't enough to catch a video of two of my favourite songs (Jesus Of Suburbia and 21 Guns), but luckily got at least some footage.
So if you haven't checked them, you really should. Even if you're not a GD fan, this was a must-see experience.
