MP3 resizer
Hey. So I remember seeing on wareZ a while ago a program that shrinks ur music to like, 1 kb or something with little to no quality loss. Anyone hear of it? Got a name? Maybe u guys have heard of something like that? Or something similar? Or something similar that's free? Kthanxshivout

Thats not anything special or new. It's just changing the bitrate. Almost any mp3 encoder will do that. That program encodes your mp3s at 80kbps, that will make it sound like SHIT! If your serious about music at all don't encode your music that low. Also shrinking any file to 1kb with little or no quality loss is absolutely impossible. The lowest i'd ever go is about 128k for mp3s. However there are many other formats that can compress your music at lower bitrates and still sound decent such as wmapro or aac (m4a) formats. Wmapro is hands down the best, it's hard to tell the difference from a cd at 64kbps, which on an mp3 would just sound horrible. But the downside is not many mp3 players support it. No way, that's impossible. There's no way that a 3 minute song can be compressed to 1KB with no quality loss. I mean that's only 8-bits of data. You must have been mistaken for have been fooled. MP3 files are already compressed files usually refereed to as lossy encoding where certain frequency are taken out of which the human brain can't hear anyway.
