it's post-rock. not suited for sum 41-core taste.

Boring music is boring. It gets a bit more exciting around 7:30ish... Instrumentals in small lengths are a lot more suiting for my tastes.
As far as "not for the sum 41-core taste" part... it really sounds like you're trying to say that it is BETTER than that style of music, or whatever. In reality, it's just a lot more sophisticated in regards to songwriting. The songs are written better, but they don't necessarily sound better. I don't know about you, but I'd rather listen to a simple 3 minute song that has some pretty good lyrics (not Sum 41, obvz.. lyrics suck) than hear a 9 minute orchestra with what sounds like an attempt to produce "angels" singing songs way out of their range. I don't know. I can't get into this "post-rock" genre, because it's a lot more boring than it is anything else. It's soothing when you're in a specific mood... but that's really as far as I'd take it.

I was just saying that most who enjoy Sum 41 type music (short, catchy, upbeat) will not enjoy this. Don't take that statement as a narcissistic slam towards the music taste of members here. I personally listen to post-rock late at night or while I'm going to sleep. It's not something to listen to for entertainment, really, and its not my favorite genre by far. I agree, you have to be in a certain mood.

It's definitely intended for a mellow setting, for sure. Something to listen and reflect to when you're alone in the quiet. I didn't really get into the song until five minutes in, but then again I wasn't in the mood to listen to something slow.

But, I enjoy it. Kthx. Just like you enjoy I See Stars, and I don't. It may be boring for you, but it is not for me. I also agree with Bass Cone, you gotta be in a certain mood to get into this, it's definitely not for everybody, just listen to this kind of music once in a while, and you'll probably like it more than before.

I like it, it's just the kind of music i want to listen to when i draw. But just like with Sigur Rós, i took me a few listens to really get into it. When i draw it's all about the melody and what feeling it makes me feel, since i can't concentrate on lyrics anyway. i discovered them a while ago, roughly around the same time i started listening to Sigur Rós, but it's true, i wouldn't listen to this sort of music every day, but every once in a while it's good to listen to something like this, especially in a creative mood.
