this is about a very good friend of mine. she was seeing this guy recently and wasnt thinking straight about it. he ended up wanting to marry her and she actually considered it. i ended up crossing the line by trying to get too involved and she got mad at me. after she finally forgave me, we talked the whole thing out, i told her how i felt and what i thought, and (thank God!) i was able to convince her to change her mind about it. and so this song is about the whole situation.
