I don't think it will happen but let's just wait and see.
Here's some slightly off topic stuff about the film, 2012. First trailer looked awesome with all the CGI and then I saw some 5 minute clip which was fucking stupid and shit because It's trying to be some family film/crap comedy rather than a good action, adventure film. Disappointing.

I'm really supersitious and worry about really stupid things, so I'm worried about this. But that's just me.
My friends are not worried at all so there always trying to freak me out and what not cause I can get really paranoid at times.

The Mayan calender doesn't predict a judgement day or anything. It just says that the age of men will end 2012. So maybe yes.

I read an article on Yahoo that said the Mayan calendar is slightly off because a pope CHANGED the calendar format sometime after the Mayans made their calendar so 2012 on their calendar has ALREADY passed on ours. This isn't happening, guys.

I think it's a load of bullshit. People have set loads of dates for the end of the world before and none of them have been right so far.

I don't believe it will happen but if it did, I couldn't care less. Cuz if it happens every one will be dead and no one can say 'I wuz rite' or 'I was wrong' .

yeah, the calenders off by like 6 years, so if anything was going to happen, it would have happened in 2006

I listened to this podcast on Stuff You Missed in History Class about 2012 and they just said that 2012 marked the end of a triyear or trimillenium i think. I forgot, but the Mayans ended their calender there which I don't think means anything. Also, I read that these people made enough money to last them until December 21, 2012, and went underground or something to wait for it.
