The constitution clearly says that congress controls money. If Dems were so against the war, why didn't they stop paying the troops back when Bush was president and they controlled congress?
Bush had no control over the money. If the troops arnt getting paid then they will leave.

the reason we have no money is partly because Clinton opened trade with China, thats working out great for us..lol But clearly you can't blame it on one single person, a lot of idiots caused this mess, sadly because they were voted back in. I think there needs to be a term limit on the senate.

did you hear about the 2.8 billion deal with Brazil for oil? We have PLENTY off the coast of Mississippi, California and up and down the east coast, but because of some stupid senators, we can't drill. And the windmill idea is just crap, we'd have to COVER the nation with windmills to supply our energy. Solar and Nuclear would work because we have enough land in the Mojave desert to use Solar and dump waste, but again, thank your senators.

So once again, we are going against Washington's words of "No entangling alliances with foreign countries" and slide deeper and deeper into dept

oh and might I add, that instead of fixing the problem, they've decided to completely re-write the constitution

basically it all comes down to dishonestly and greed in our political system, just look at Obama's campaign compared to what he's doing as an example, its going on everywhere and instead of trying to do their job the Dems and Reb's just fight, which isn't getting us anywhere its just splitting the nation

Once you're deployed, you're deployed for a certain amount of time. You can't just leave whenever you want.

It doesn't matter that Bush had no control of the money, as president he was commander in chief and had the authority to deploy the army. He could have listened to the U.N. inspectors when they reported there were no WMD's in Iraq, but he chose not to. You can't blame congress, for Bush's ignorance.

Also, windmills and alternative enegry are the way of the future, drilling the rest of our nation till it's bone dry or filling the ground with toxic waste from nuclear plants is just a temporary, risky and costly solution which could be better spent on researching and developing alternative energy methods.

Exactly who else should we blame for Bush's ignorance? And you can't just invade a country and then just leave it to let them fix there problems by themselves because you have a new congress.
