Andrea, this thread is mainly directed at you! But if anyone else here has been to Barcelona, say what places you visited while there. Basically, Im taing my girlfriend there for a few days for her birthday, and want to know the best places to visit.

annnnd, is it impossible for me to get tickets for a Barca game?

hey, I heard and saw on the german "Boobs, Beer & Sex"-Channel RTL that barca is the city of mobsmen (British english). I dont know if that was just a lame attempt of the german bertelsmann-media to let the number of tourists in barca decrease and I dont wanna scare you but, take care of your money and your lady´s clutch.

I'm not fussed about "mobsmen", I've been to Brixton enough times, and it's not asif I'm going to hang out with the Taliban for a week. every major city has it's cunts, and you have to look after your shit, I'm used to that.

well i've been there tons of times , and i'm gonna live a few km away since my college is pretty near , there are several places you must visit like el parc güell ,la casa batlló , la casa mila ( all of them were designed by gaudi), don't ever walk around les rambles at night , check out el barri gòtic (gothic neighborhood ) which is if i'm not mistaken the oldest part of the city and has an incredible cathedral , oh and another thing you could is the tourist bus thing you can catch it at catalonia's square (plaça catalunya) right infront of were i'll have to catch the train for college ,
and of course you can always buy tickets

yea, I've been told to check out Gaudi's stuff, some of it sounds quite interesting. and, do they do tours at the Camp Nou during the week? If I'm going to Barcelona, I have to go there!

I've been to Barcelona but i don't rememeber the names of anything except Camp Nou. That's awesome.

yup they do tours

I went there, but only to get on a cruise ship at the dock place there, so I haven't really done anything big there.

i've been to barcelona before, but i visited cathedrals and other tourist-y stuff only. that gaudi guy's stuff is pretty cool

I've been there 2 times, all I can say is that I love that town. You can't either relax on beach or shop! Thats way its awesome town. And yeah, Camp Nou is must thing.

I have never been to Barcelona, but i'd say take her to the mall.

warm for you i guess though october and november is probably when it rains the most

warm for you i guess though october and november is probably when it rains the most

it rains here during our summer, so nothing new!
