Question about Blink

Post by RODNEYMULLEN »

Now that they're back together does that mean that are +44 gonna break up? I actually really like +44 and i think that mark and travis should try and manage with 2 different bands.

I like +44 to!
But if i had to decide, i'd rather +44 be no longer. Rather than Blink.

Me too, but it would be cool if there was both.

I think that +44 is dead for a long time already, I don't even think that they are still friends with Craig :s A while ago he posted something about how he hated all these rich people with their big cars (that's what he said while +44 was just done touring etc)..

Wikipedia

Due to Blink-182's reformation, the band's second studio album's production was put on hold once again, although Mark Hoppus stated he's not disbanding the band and that he loves working with guitarists Shane Gallagher and Craig Fairbaugh and he plans to release an album with them after the upcoming Blink-182 album and tour, and that he will continue his work with the band, only in a smaller capacity as Blink will be his main focus.

That wikipedia thing is true actually, cuz I remember reading excatly the same article on MTV.com or something, where they did this special 2-part interview with Mark, and he said that he and Travis are still friends with Shane and Craig and that they would love to release a new album with them when they'll have time but now Blink is the main focus. So from what Mark said, +44 is not totally dead and I bet Mark would even come back writing and recording some shit for them when Tom will be all busy with the new AvA album coming in 2010... I mean, he'll be touring with AvA and stuff, so Mark and Travis will have some time.

Although, I remember in an interview and videos that Mark said he was recording stuff for the second +44 album all by himself and saying it's probably going to be a solo record for him after all. I mean, he had 2 guitarists and in the videos he played and recorded guitars, and right when we all were excited about a Mark Hoppus solo album - Blink reunited.

+44 is in a coma, so-to-speak.

Yeah me too. Or this solo album Mark was about to make, I'm sure it'll sound pretty close to +44 or even as the proposed new +44 album, cuz Mark writes 90% of the stuff anyway.

I though that +44 were a pretty kick ass band, I even went to see them a few years back when they first toured in Glasgow. That was a pretty good night. I really hope that +44 doesn't split cause I've been looking forward to a new album for quite some time now.

Travis and Mark will definitely need something to do when Tom will be all busy touring and promoting AvA's upcoming album and film in 2010.
