on the plus side, he lived until he was 94. bad note though he died on pneumonia.

RIP. Personaly I don't own one but I played it at a friend and it's awsome. I still prefer Fender though.

Naw, I have a Fender Strat that I use as standard tuning and Dropped-D and I have my telecaster that is in dropped C. the only reason I don't like Les Pauls is because they are heavy and I like to be active and jump about live so I stick with Fenders. Les Paul is a legend though, he really did make the modern day guitar.

RIP, he was a true legend. He was not only the guy behind Les Paul guitars, but also many innovative stuff in the guitar world, like delay effects and multitrack recording.

you cannot explain how much of a legend and innovator this man was to music, not only through his guitars, but how music is recorded today.
