I love them both, i've listened to Brand New a lot over the year and i've gotten quite...well, tired of them, doesn't mean i don't think they're good, but The Gaslight Anthem is like a breeze of fresh air. To me, they're equal and choosing between them would be difficult, like parents splitting up and you have to choose between them when you love them both equally. Plus the '59 Sound is a perfect album for me, i think i've never listened to an album so much as i did when i discovered that.

There's not a chance that any lyrics from TGA beat anything that Jesse Lacey has written. MAYBE some of their songs are better than songs written by Vinny, but I highly doubt it. I am heaven sent, don't you dare forget.
