According to a report in the Globe and Mail a group that is intending to bid on the Phoenix Coyotes wants to bring five of the team's regular season games to Saskatoon or Halifax.

I think that's the best Canada will get anytime soon. It's quite clear Gary Bettman will do his very best to prevent relocation north of the border... despite PHX losing more than $60 million last year.

Canada doesn't deserve a 7th team? It's our national sport, and by far the most popular. Tickets to an NHL game are the hottest in town, and the waiting list for season tickets is years long. All 6 franchises are on consecutive sell-out streaks that stretch over multiple seasons. Plus, we've already had 2 teams taken away from us. As far as I'm concerned, the Canadian hockey market is severely neglected. I believe multiple franchises could thrive in various areas of the country.

USA doesn't deserve 24 teams. It just doesn't make sense.
