AHAHAHA I love this post.
Gaborik is gonna be a bust, he's already injured for next season :hehe:
Heatley is a pussy.
lol Phoenix.

What do you guys think about Toronto signing Jonas "The Monster" Gustavsson.
Personally, I'm really excited about this, I really hope I get to watch him develop in Toronto and not in another city. I really hope that if he's not a bust, he sticks with Toronto his whole Career, Toronto's had a really bad thing for goalies *COUGH*Tukkaa Rask*COUGH*

After digesting all of these off season moves, I'd like to say a few things.

First of all, the Blackhawks aren't even the best team in their division, let alone the best choice to win a stanley cup.
The Red Wings still dominate the Blackhawks. Place the top Red Wings line against the top Blackhawks line, and the Red Wings line is most likely the one YOU would choose to go with at that particular moment. Do the same thing comparing the next 3 lines. Lets also add the fact that last season was an off year for the NHLs best defenseman - Nick Lidstrom, and yet, he STILL qualified for the norris trophy. If he comes back this year to the top of his game, he'll win the trophy, and the Wings defense will be great like it was in 07. Now, look at the defensive pairs on the teams. Now that Pronger was traded away from Anaheim, the Lidstrom-Rafalski line is now arguably the best defensive line in hockey. The Wings also have Kronwall, who is quickly becoming a top 3 defenseman, and Stuart, who is solid as fuck. The Wings still have the most depth, even without Samuelsson, Hossa, and possibly Hudler.

As far as other moves this offseason, I think their isn't much of a top NHL teams shift at all.

imo, the top teams are Detroit, Pittsburgh, San Jose, Boston, and Chicago.

boston!?!?!
are u shitting me?

the ones that carolina upset?
no ways

in all honesty, the rangers have done pretty well this offseason. if dumbshit gaborik stays healthy, we have a 50+ goal scorer in our lineup, not to mention the arguably best netminder in the entire league.

top teams: toronto (idk, its either they're gonna do really well or really shitty), detroit (perhaps.... like they lost people, havent gained anyone), rangers (assuming gabby. plus i guarentee dubinsky will up his game to 30+ goals and callahan to at least 35+ goals), san jose, blackhawks (definately. hossa is a great addition, and they're gonna do wonders this year), caps (just because ovetchkin carries the team. and assuming they get a decent enough goalie they're gonna do wonders)
