True, both song and album.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. The past two albums had a personal significance to the title rather than just being funny like the others. I'm curious as to what significance this album title will have, whatever it will be.

I cannot believe we have an album title! YES.
but.. I can't really picture it as an album title from The Sums.
It sounds more like something coming from an unsigned band or something.
But you know what? I think these sets of songs will fit perfectly with the title. It probably has something to do with each of the songs.
I'm really excited now.

Well it's just speculation right now. It's not official, which is why we're going to ask Deryck about it on Saturday in the chat. Hopefully we can get an answer.

All I read was you guys talking about an album title and i didn't go back two pages to know that it's on websites. i googled it earlier and barely anything came up!
I hope Deryck confirms something so we know what to believe.

I'm not criticizing at all here. I just think that SBM comes as a bit of a surprise as an album title for Sum 41 for most people, and so hence people are going to bitch about it. However, it's growing on me alot atm.

To be honest, whatever title comes with the album, someone is not going to like it.

I dislike comments like this. No one should have to do this in order to be able to voice their first impressions on the possible title. So they're just supposed to say nothing until they find a title you think is better? That's too subjective.

That annoyed me aswell. The same thing with Green Day trying to look like the ambassadeurs of the workin class but at the same time releaseing like 10 different versions of 21CB.

'Complicity to Murder' would make sense oddly enough...

Your right, just because i like "SBM", doesn't mean everyone should. I apologize.

This site says the 2nd of august as the release date and it also has Screaming Bloody murder as the title.

The title has grown on me a lot. I can imagine the album cover, it has only black and red. And it's little bit based on this piece of art, haha:

Well, if Cone doesn't deny... I don't know, but when we came up with 'Complicity' they were all like: Nah, that sucks, it's not gonna be that one blabla

But now... It seems like we're getting close.

August 2nd could work as a release date.

Well, he didn't say no, but yeah, he could be playing with us.. so now we'll be all like "oh yeah that is the title!" and in the end its all.. I guess they just want to keep the element of surprise with this record.. seems like they keep everything secret about it. I won't be surprised if we won't know the album artwork or track listing until like 2 days before haha cuz they all want it to be such a secret.
