I really liked the song order on the tracklist of Underclass Hero. I hope they do the same with this album and not just plop them where ever they please! Chuck was good too. You could easily pick out the two fast songs, one slow song pattern.

Deryck stated in that French interview, from back in May or something, that the first song he wrote for the new album ("Reason To Believe" as we know now) will also be the first track on the new record.

So yeah, I think he's been thinkin about that for a couple of times. He wouldn't just put them in a random order.

By the way, I don't know if this has been posted yet, but I found this on a website:
"Blood In My Eyes" will also be available for instant download to all those who pre-order the album on iTunes next Tuesday
So maybe, we'll get the official tracklisting by then.

Does this have to be confirmed by the band before I post it on the front page? Maybe I'll just do it anyway.

I don't like the idea of buying albums of bands I like from iTunes since I almost always end up buying the physical copy anyway. By the time Screaming Bloody Murder is released, I will probably have bought three copies of the album.

yea I only want the album on CD, I don't want to pay for it off iTunes as well! I'll purchase a bonus track if iTunes has one though.

Whatever, I posted it on the front page, Twitter, and Facebook. If it turns out to be wrong you can fire me from the News Poster job, Nic!

For the ones who listened to the stuio updates often, does @8:25 a bit similiar to 'some riff' we might have heard in the updates?
Structural-wise, I mean. The rhythm and the drum beat, not necessarily the sound.

By the way: I do not want to know the name of the Sum 41-song! Thanks.

I don't like these contant talks about similarities everytime a new song gets in the light of the world ...

everyone should understand the heap of rock bands being out there, since 1950 ...if you can offer a prevention for it,then do so ...
This is Mark Allen Hoppus. He likes long walks on the beach. This, this is travis barker. He likes to be read poetry just before sunset. And me, I like to stick small pieces of furniture up my butt.

I wouldn't say it sounds much like it at all. For one, it's just a similarity between the strumming patterns - the chord progression and use of chords is completely different. As well as that, it seems to be used in a completely different context. Lastly, Deryck's guitar tone isn't shitty even in the demos we heard, and Billie Joe's tone here is dick.

I think Deryck's tone is that riff that you think is similar is way crunhier and heavier.. less punky, more metal.

He just wanted to point out the obvious similarity of the rhythmical structure, disgarding tempo, chords and tones, which you can clearly only confirm.

But as I said countless times: For pretty much every new song that comes out these days, you will likely find dozens of songs which have parts that sound somewhat similar. So unless its (almost) exactly identical, it has to be at least interesting or funny in some way (like from a completely different style of music or something like that) to be worth a discussion.

It was worth mentioning, but let's just acknowlede and move on before rip-off callers can jump in on it and declare this big deal, wasting everyone's time.
