I remember the band mentioning something about the new album being like We're All to Blame. So there will probably songs that have both slow and fast parts in them, much like Underclass Hero.

As far as speculating introduction tracks goes, I always imagined the part that Deryck plays in this video at 0:28 to sound intro-y.

I haven't been keeping up with this thread, and I can't be bothered to read through it, but have all the vocals been recorded yet?

nah i dont think it dragged on at all it has enough changes to keep listiner intrested

Here's the deal:

At the end of this month they have a few shows in Europe. Their goal is to get everything recorded by then (which will succeed probably).

I guess they're back for a little while then, no idea what they'll be doing though. They'll start mixing probably.

By the time summer begins, they're leaving for the Warped Tour. They'll be playing it all summer long, so the mixing will be in the hands of Chris Lord-Alge (or something, I always get his name spelled/pronounced wrong and I'm too lazy to look it up).

After the mixing the mastering and the manufracturing follows.

Stevo claimed that the record will come out August 10th, but maybe that's a bit optimistic imo.

Generally stated: the new record comes out this summer.

I'm hoping it comes out sometime in August because September always feels more like a fall month to me even though Summer ends around September 21 or 22.

I wish they'd give us an album title or name of a single though.

We'll probably have a single mid/late June.

i wish they would post some song clips or something.... do you think they will put a track online before a single. You know like when they put our march of the dogs before the album or single came out im sure

That won't happen.

At least it didn't happen with UH.

The single leaked by the end of April and was officially released a few weeks later I guess.

The entire album leaked a bit before mid July.

Someone should ask that at the Deryck chat. I doubt he'll say anything because it's Deryck, but someone asked Cone in the Q&A one time in 2006, "Is your new single going to be called The Under Class Hero?" Cone was like, "Yeah... how'd you know that?" So who knows.

It doesn't sound like a very good album title though.

Though release date is highly unlikely, even impossible, for the album, maybe it could be the single? Could it be possible that it's the name of the single?

Not to say this is true or anything like that. Some site could've thrown it on for lulz and other sites just followed suit thinking it was really the title.

Other than evading tax by being on the channel islands then yeah. Play.com is pretty legit, it might not be the official album title though, it could just be a working title given out by universal records.

As an album title - please no!

If there would be only two options, I would take Complicity any day!

It sounds OK title to me. And Sum 41's album titles aren't THAT good :D Usually play.com just uses "New Album TBA" for the upcoming releases so I don't think that they just made up Screaming Bloody Murder. I doubt it would be the name of single tho. But dno.
