UEFA have banned Real Madrid & Lyon from wearing t-shirts offering support to Abidal before their game tonight. along with banning snoods, UEFA really are tackling the important issues in football right now. wankers.

so Real Madrid - Lyon 3:0 , easier than I expected,Lyon kinda hardly made a chance for themselves,while RM could score at least 7 times tonight ..
Chelsea did what they had to do,they're there too !

back to a real European competition tonight (fuck the Champions League) where we get to see Liverpool dumped out of Europe by fuckin Braga. I'm hoping Carroll gets a start tonight.

rumours are Lucas could be missing tonight due to his wife giving birth, we're gonna end up with a defensive midfield pairing of Poulsen & Spearing. jesus. with Gerrard injured it's going to be a weaker midfield from us.

and we have at least another season without Champions League football. this summer is going to be a huge summer for the club and the new owners. we have to be challenging for the top 4 next season. the longer we're out of the Champions League, the harder it will be to get back into it.

I can't imagine Real - Barca it would be REALLY intresting because there is final of Spanian league cup, then another El Clásico and then there would be another 2 matches. In 3 or 4 weeks :D.

I don't know if I'd like to see four El Classico's in four weeks...it wouldn't have the same magic,they should rather meet in semi-finals ! :)
