Even if the Sums wanted to release the final version of Skumfuk, I would almost guarantee the label wouldn't let it happen, since they take it up the butt.

i think this was done for the dissent of man by bad religion, and i think the lyrics for appeal to reason were leaked before the album was leaked. when i first read "hero of war" i had imagined a melody for the song, but when the album was released/leaked, i was annoyed that it was the slow acoustic song. i still liked it, but i had different expectations for it.
I would definitely read the lyrics and any difference from what I expected compared to the actual song would be a welcome surprise

I won't read the lyrics, I want to hear them for the first time. I remember doing the same thing for 21st century breakdown, I had only listened to the songs which were released, and I waited till the record is officially released. I choose the right time, and really, to me it felt like christmas. Sum 41 is my favorite band, and I want this moment to be fuckin perfect !

ahaha this one's great. I mean the other one where they get the email for the new year was funny too but this is just a step higher
it's obvious they expose their label everytime they can. I would love to see them recording these videos

Either way, Sum 41's album taste pattern has been black and white throughout the history and SBM is the darker one, there is a lighter one coming up probably!
Already making thoughts about the next album :)
