well i saw the sums live in 2003 and was on my way to meet cone he was in some tent. anyways i saw deryck just walking around. i was prepared i had my camera, sharpie and i printed out the sums logo on a paper just in case i actually met them. i was the first person to notice deryck i got my my paper and sharpie and asked him to sign it. by the time my friend got the camera out there was a mob of fans so he used my sharpie to sign all the stuff. i didn't want to be rude and ask for it back plus i still wanted to meet cone.

anways you probably want to hear about the phone call

back in 2001 sum was at the 89x birthday bash. my friend was going. so then i get a call from my friend shes like guess where i am?
i said at the show
she said yeah.
she said greig was really nice and then....she asked if i wanted to talk to deryck!
i was freaking out.
then deryck said hello?
i said hello? is this deryck?
he said yeah.
i said omg your're so hot. he laughed
then i said i loved the fat lip video especially the P4P part.
he said he was glad i liked it cause it was really hot when the shot it.
then he said thanks for being a fan.
i said it was nice to talk to him.
he said no problem bye.
i said bye.

i should mention i was really loud at the show so he kept saying what.lol.

oh i forgot to say when i met cone i told him deryck stole my sharpie. he said don't worry about it he steals my stuff all the time. he was really nice. and a little drunk lol.

the telecaster is in the hard rock cafe in Atlantic City. http://hardrockcafe.com/locations/cafes ... IBenumID=3 (check out #10) and his super badass red SG w/ all the stickers on it is at the one in Lake Tahoe. and i've had the oppurtunity to visit it several times

i've never even seen there friggen show. i want to see them soooo bad. but wow i don't know what i would do if i actually met them. i'd probably have like an asthma attack( i don't have asthma, but still) and then talk incomprehensibly. that would be really cool though

yeah i know what you mean about not knowing what to say. im soo glad i thought of something to say to deryck on the phone. otherwise the whole conversation would have been me freaking out saying omg you're hot. thank goodness i got passed that. but at least when i met cone deryck gave me a good conversation starter with the whole sharpie thing lol.

Can anyone post any pic's of these guitars, I dont know what they look like, I never payed attention to Live Sum 41 videos, just their music.
