dammit... sometimes i hate living in Australia
im heaps keen on soccer, been playing it since i was 5
but its damn near impossible to watch any televised league matches here
unless you have pay tv sports channels (which i dont) your pretty well screwed, hell you can't even watch the local a-league games here with out pay tv!

anyways i tend to go for chelsea in the english league
central coast mariners in the aussie
kinda a funny combination seeing as how chelsea is one of the richest teams in the premier league and mariners are the smallest, poorest club in the a-league (in the inaugurale a-league season the entire mariners teams pay combined was less than dwight york was being paid to play for Sydney FC!)

yea, most teams have rich owners, its just Chelsea and Man City have extremely rich owners. you can't just buy the best players in the world and expect to win everything though, they need to be able to play together as a team, thats the tricky part. i mean look at real Madrid, over the years they have had the best team in the world on paper, but still failed to win anything in some seasons

and Amen to that.

Chelsea is looking strong this year though, I think they might have a chance to win this season. I hope United proves to be the strongest team at the end, and win it just in front of Chelsea. Like in the last match or something. That would be great!

yea, after watching the last few Chelsea games, i agree with you, they are looking very strong. we'll just have to wait and see if they can maintain that all season, and if Utd do pick up their form everyone knows. but i can see it being between Utd and Chelsea come May, though id love for Liverpool to still be in the mix for the title!

^^those games were in the Carling Cup though, not in the league, so they don't really affect anything. though Arsenal played an amazing game, even with all their youngsters

yea, like 10 years ago today they were rock bottom of all the football leagues (which is like 4) and now their high flying in the premiership, its a pretty cool stroy really. though they were outplayed last night by Chelsea. i can't see Hull keeping up their current form all season

and we won again last night, and were still unbeaten. this is the best start we have had in years!
