I think you can pre-order is as one full set from the band's website, otherwise they're five separate EP's.

noooot what I wanted to hear
so are ALL the EPs worth buying? It's better to buy the Eps ($1.98) than buying the individual songs for $1.29 I'll probably buy the first one.

I don't find the songs to be spectacular, although Kiss the Ring and Boy Division are pretty sweet, but maybe preview them on iTunes. Number One and Number Four are the faster, more punk songs while Two and Three are more ballad/epic kind of stuff. In the end it'll cost you maybe $10 - $12 for all five EP's like a regular album.

Conventional Weapons 5 is out, which completes the collection! What does everybody think? Definitely worth releasing these tracks, even if they're not the best music the band has made. It's interesting to see the journey between The Black Parade and Danger Days.

They ended on a decent note, but 1 & 4 are my favorites. 5 is third, and 2 & 3 are last.

I quite enjoyed these songs, though half hit and half miss for me. My favorite tracks are Boy Division, Kiss the Ring and The Light Behind Your Eyes. The rest were decent songs but they just didn't have a hook that kept me coming back for more.

I like it. Most of it is better than everything from Danger Days.. Though I liked the album earlier.

I liked most of the tracks.. It's better than Danger Days IMO. It's more... old school MCR, dark and all, not too upbeat and gay like Danger Days haha.

Oh yeah, I forgot they were releasing them like this. I've only heard a few of their new songs, from what I have heard, it's pretty decent. I'll have to catch up with the rest of these soon.

So MCR just randomly broke up??

Being in this band for the past 12 years has been a true blessing. We've gotten to go places we never knew we would. We've been able to see and experience things we never imagined possible. We've shared the stage with people we admire, people we look up to, and best of all, our friends. And now, like all great things, it has come time for it to end. Thanks for all of your support, and for being part of the adventure.

I don't really follow MCR, I mean, I know their songs and I seen them open for blink-182, so this came as a surprise to me, as I'm sure it did for everyone else, by the looks of it. The blog post was not really anything too descriptive. Any ideas as to why they broke up?

There was issues with the bass player cheating on his wife, and since he's the singers brother it'd be hard to deal with him I guess. The band seemed fine after that though, and apparently had 6 songs recorded for the next album. They built their own freaking studio to record it in...or at least were in the process of, I never heard what happened in the end

It's a shame they had to break up now. They had big plans for this next album.

Shame. I've grown to enjoy their music over the last five years (took me a while to get over the whole Black Parade outfit and just enjoy the music).

Haha, it was exactly the same for me! Took me years to learn to ignore their outlook and start listening to their music.

My Chemical Romance may have split up two days ago, but an interesting string of messages from various people connected has been posted on Reddit, hinting that the band will reunite under a new name. The post states that the reason My Chemical Romance will change their name is because of their record label owning the rights to their name.
The “new band” currently has no name, but we’ll keep you posted when details surface.
