download is 13th-15th june
reading is 22-24 august.

anyway thanks but I was saying when they'll have made the complete european tour, not the festival :(

alot of bands will do a big European festival circuit during the summer. meaning they play alot of festivals throughout Europe aswell as some of their own headlining dates in various countries in Europe inbetween playin the festivals. not many bands will do just one or two festivals, especially American or Canadian bands, as it will cost alot of money just to come over and play 2 shows, when they can play 20 shows and earn alot more money.

yeah a big european circuit forgetting spain as always
here there are justa few good festivals the festimad, azkena rock ... and you know what this year tthe rock in rio is held in madrid and guess who is going??? shakira and tokio hotel

I think that if the guys go to Europe in the summer, they'll do festivals, not a tour, 'cause they tend to go for festivals around then.

they were coming to a festival in Turkey last summer with avril but they didn't come .they stayed in berlin to a radio show instead of coming Turkey.Only avril came and festival organizators said it's their problem cause the festival was on 14 of july.And you know their wedding anniversary is on 15 of july ...i hope they will come this year ...

yea, thats what im hopin they will do. but some bands do do the odd headlining show in different countries. for example, +44 had a few dates in the UK the same week they were playin Reading and Leeds last year (though they cancelled all their dates) i was going to see them in London on the monday and then Reading on the sunday.

Now the question is: Is that European thing just from mid may to end may, or starts it after the gig in Altamount, or just in July / August .... ?

well is the European tour is after the Altamont date then there will be no Download appearence :(

but still looking good if they are touring July/August for Reading :D

Fack! I'm off to the military service for a year (obliged in Finland) at the start of July, so I was hoping they would come to Europe in June. :(

I didnt think they'd do Download, its a little late for them to announce that, but then again there's always the suprise slot. Part of me hopes they'll play reading & leeds but a bigger part of me doesnt because im not going this year =[

I want them to play in Russia!!! Really!!
