This song has vocals that sound like a boar farting. A retarded boar with a guitar farting, that is.

My opinion - and don't jump all over me and "flame" me for it.
The entire new album, is the weakest musically, lyrically, and melodically, that they have ever played.
In my opinion.
And I have a hard time choosing between "Walking Disaster" or "Underclass Hero" as the ones that make me want to go on a shooting spree and kill everyone in the world for allowing such terrible music to be bestowed upon my ears.
*waiting to be called gay, a douche, an asshole, a cunt, ignorant, etc. etc.*

Lyrically?!
I think it's one of the stronger albums LYRICALLY, Ash.
I think "Walking Disaster" is amazing. And I think that the world has heard far worse than "Underclass Hero".
Over-reactions 101, ladies and gentlemen.
I know you don't like this new album, Ashley, but you were a big fan once. You know how it feels when people come in and bash the music that you like. You know that it pisses you off. Do you think that that feeling for other people changes when you stop liking the band or something?

I agree with the rest but not lyrically...But the lyrics kinda get poured down cause of the repetitive parts.

No matter what people say and the album really is just mediocore musicially (though still great and fun), it's freakin' amazing lyrically!
so please, dont bash the lyrics!

It just seemed too poppy for me. I mean, it had really cool guitar parts. But... it wasn't edgy enough for me like the song before and after it.

Yeah, i guess the reason i think its their worst cuz its on DTLI when it has nothing do with songs such as Still waiting and Mr. Amsterdam for example, and definitely not to come between such songs as Over My Head and Still Waiting. so i guess that's like the only reason i don't like it.
You know, the first impression is everything and since the first time i heard it , it was in the DTLI tracklist... it's just... felt like a leftover of All Killer and HHOP.

i like my direction, it may not go with the album, but it's still good

you see, i mean, i don't think its that bad, but for me, it just not as good as all other songs, especially the reason its stuck in DTLI with No Reason which just ruined my first impression.
I probably would like it more if it would be in AKNF.

No Reason isn't stuck in DTLI...

I didn't say that the song No Reason was stuck there... i just highlighted it with capital letters cuz it is a sum 41 song
I said that the way My Direction is stuck between Over my Head and Still Waiting in DTLI, seems like there was no reason at all to do it... fuckin' senseless.

That's fine. I think it's one of their weakest, lyrically as well. We're all entitled to our own opinions.
And that's fine, also, that you enjoy those songs. I, do not.
I didn't think I was bashing exactly. I was stating my opinion, and I tried to do it in a less "omg they suck losers omg" or whatever way. I suppose I was explaining WHY I don't enjoy it, as I knew if I just put that I didn't like it - people would be all "OMG WHY!?"
I'm not as self-centred as you apparently think I am. I know people like the band still, and I knew people would disagree with me. That doesn't mean I'm not entitled to post my opinion, especially since I did it in a non-attacking sort of fashion. Or at least, I thought I did.

I don't think you're self-centered at all. That's why I responded the way I did, because I was surprised when I read this paragraph:
'And I have a hard time choosing between "Walking Disaster" or "Underclass Hero" as the ones that make me want to go on a shooting spree and kill everyone in the world for allowing such terrible music to be bestowed upon my ears.'
That was where the non-attacking angle stopped, and it was just "woooo, let's bash!"

Actually, it was just me joking around and making a ridiculously overblown connection to how much I hate those songs...which I do.
And in my opinion, it is terrible music. Very terrible music. I even put at the very start of my original post that it was all merely my opinion.

I sort of understand why you don't like Sum 41's new stuff when I consider how much you like Brown Brigade.

by Asho_DirtyPoo
Yeah, that's exactly it.
I'm more into the music aspect, rather than the lyrics on their own. And Sum 41 is lacking in the musical aspect (in my opinion) on the new album. Thus, I don't like it. I truly believe that if Dave was never in Sum 41 all the way along (or someone who plays like him, style-wise and such)...I would never have been a fan at all.
Not that I didn't love the music back in the day...but I loved it as a whole, Dave included. And with him out of the picture, the music isn't the same...which is okay, different is fine...it's just that what it is now is not music that appeals to this guy.

Yeah i mean I like Sum 41 but their new stuff sucks...I mean the lyrics are awesome but to much repetitiveness and sometimes the instruments are more stronger than the vocals as in sometimes you cant even hear Deyck singing.
