I know I will like it, but still... First album to be released in eight years =/

this is kinda the way I feel ...you know,before giving a listen to some new song(like SBM),you always feel like it could disappoint you ...
and Blink 182 is a band where all three members did so much shit since they've broken up ...but I think that it will be cool and maybe even if we'll be able to hear AvA in the songs cause nobody knows how it may sound ...and I want to hear Mark and Tom's ideas mixed,their voices mixed again and in the end I want Travis to play his drums ... ;)

Blink fans ?? probably just a few will like it,maybe none ...and I believe that many of them will check it out,just like me ...

what I KNOW FOR SURE is that I want Transplants new album ...they were great

People only gonna check Barker's album out of curiousity. I mean, it has nothing to do with Blink and I don't any hardcore blink fans will like it... I've heard the first two singles.. it's just plain hip hop. I know there's a song with Corey Taylor of Slipknot so it's probably gonna be some heavy metal tune, and one with Chester from Linkin Park, so it'll be probably also a rock tune and all. Other than that, the second single "Carry It" featured Tom Morello on guitar so it had some nice guitar licks by Morello but it was this rap rock kinda track.. and except that, I know Slash is making an appearance on some track.

But all in all, 90% of guests on this album are rappers. Minus Chester, Corey, Slash and Tom Morello.. you've got Eminem, Lil' Wayne, Dr. Dre, The Game, B.o.B, Pharell, Snoop Dogg, etc.
I don't even like hip hop but I know these are some of the big names in hip hop.. so it sounds like a big hip hop compilation. I don't really expect anything amazing with the drums though but maybe Travis will surprise in this section though I don't see myself enjoying any drumming if it's a rap track with some rapper rapping all over it.. not my kinda thing, except for Beastie Boys, they are actually cool.

apparently his solo album doesn't have the 'crazy fills' etc that you see in blink. i don't really understand it. why would a drummer have a solo album and not go totally nuts on the drums? it seems kind of pointless to leave his really amazing stuff for blink

I think I might wait till the album drops before I listen to anything new... Also I think I am going to avoid blink-182 song discussions from the point a song is released until the new album is released and I have listened to it enough to form my own opinion XD
