Nothing happened really, games after Fifa week are always tough, and Sporting Gijon deserved at least that one point they got.
As for Real Madrid, i was impressed they managed to get through the game with 10 players, now they're just 5 pts away, how exciting!

this weekends games certainly make the league a bit more exciting, especially the 2nd Barca/Real match. if Real win they'll be right back in the race. Barca are still favourites for me though.

I don't want Lucas going anywhere, he's been one of our most consistent players this season. you don't always see it, but he's an important player for us. looking at his stats he's one of the best players we have in terms of passing. and if he did go, we'd have noone to replace him with other than an ageing Poulsen.

well I agree that he's not that bad,but if we want to get our ass as high as possible we should have someone better there...

there is noone else so I guess noone,we have to stick with him ...but I believe that if Gerrard and Meireles will play it will be okay ...

neither of them are good enough defensively though, they're both better ustilised further up the pitch with Lucas the holding midfielder between the defence and midfield. now Mascherano has gone, all we have for that role is Lucas and Poulsen.

yeah I know,I just said that they will play so good they I will not have so much time to criticize Lucas :)

anyways, sucks to see (fat) Ronaldo retiring, on his day we was the best player on the planet. shame his career was haulted by injuries.
