no I just think that on live shows he's drunk and lazy with his playing. I think he can play alot better then we seem to think, maybe not the bitter end solo but........

Very cool! I'm really looking forward to this since Metallica is my second favorite band. I just hope they REALLY get a good Metallicaish sound for the show. I believe Tom can do it. But without Dave it hardly will be as good as the MTV ICON performance.

man I hope there is somehow a good video of this, or dvd. I want to see this SO BAD. I mean really, sum 41 does a full setlist of metallica!? wow, can't wait.

that was OK. you could tell tom pretty much played the entire song. but ill wait until the band posts their videos of it, they said on twitter they will put videos up soon.

I think they might have cut it short just because they can't fit a ton of full metallica songs in a half hour set. like 3 and a half lol. but I think it sounds good.

Guitar tones improved since Underclass... but they still lack the girth in the tone that used to be filled by Dave's pedal board.
