7 songs? thats awesome, thats really like HHOP cuz it really has like 7 real songs on there, like it was said here, all the rest are really short stuff or short instrumentals (Grab the Devil, Ride the Chariot, 32 Ways to Die).

I'd love a sick instrumental, like Grab the Devil, but I don't want to get my hopes up. I want it though. I want it bad. Real bad. *insert sex noises*

ah right. thanks rodney for posting. To prove that I understand it right: the sentence about "laying down with his bass" should be a wordgame for about having sex with a music instrument right? :holyshit:

No, he said "Laying down the bass" which means he's recording the bass parts.

No. You're Wrong. HHOP is an EP. EP's used to have much more on them back in the days of LP's EP's and Singles,, all on vinyl...

26 minutes is an EP... that's how long HHOP is (once you take out the silcene)

Okay, the silence is added to MAKE it a "full length album", HHOP is an album, not an EP solely for that reason. The amount of songs on an EP/Album doesn't matter at all, it's how long the album is. Wow....

True, if EP's were determined by the amount of songs, albums like Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin or Master of Puppets could fall under that category.

just got my question back from D

it's hard to say. it's a bit of chuck meets DTLI i guess. but still doesn't really sound like either of them. it's hard to explain. but if you like our band you will like this album.

well in that chat earlier
you mentioned the EP is heavier
but stated that its different then anything you guys have done
my question is
which album would you say that it kinda relates to
not sound wise
but like agressiveness of chuck/does this look infected?
or more of a king of contradiction fast pace songs?
i don't know what im trying to say haha
but 7 songs sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me
and you guys already have drums done? so next is bass
then you will probably lay down guitars and vocals and any other instruments right?
oh and you know i gotta ask haha
what about the Cone B-side???? i mean all this time we thought you were slackin off but then we found out that cone just finished sending you vocals
so were does the B-side stand at this point?

i think that was the best anwser i could ever hope for
i wish he woulda gave me the doenload link to the b-side tho haahha

Fuck yeah. Chuck meets Infected! Mix in the "yes, I do like Sum 41" factor and "doesn't really sound the same" and that's a recipe for success!

Yeah, I hope everything balances out. I hope the guitar riffs make a comeback and the songs are darker and more mature, but no so dark that they're depressing. I hope it's upbeat enough to make you feel good and happy, but not so upbeat that it's corny. The best examples would be No Reason, Over My Head, The Hell Song and Still Waiting.
