Well, I don't think it's re-recorded. I just think that, as the whole album, is remastered, you know.

love it, although original's great too obviously !

its hard to say which one i like better. they sound really really different, and his voice was definatly re-recorded, i notice alot of differences.
but i think i like the hhop one better, mostly because the introduction just jumps out so much more. and the attitude in general.

No it's re-recorded. Some bands re-record some song on their best of albums so that the fans arnt buying the same songs over again.
...But anyways I like this version alot, dont get me wrong tho, the original is good too.

For me, the most noticeable part is the bridge. The lead guitar tone is much more different than the original. In the original, the notes kind of blend together and in this version you can hear them more clearly and separately.

Does it sound like any other songs were re-recorded? More specifically... does Subject to Change still sound the same?

Subject to Change is not on the album. I knew that tracklisting that said it is was fake, its too weird to include it and not including Handle This or Some Say (and Handle This is actually on the CD in the end).

Oh okay. Damn, I really wanted a re-recorded Subject to Change.

On the last or second last bar of the outro riff Deryck mis-hits a note, so it's just a bumnote in the middle of the outro - which isnt there in the original. I like this re-recording after listening for a while now, but obviously the original has pride of place on my iPod!
