How do you not know the names of the strings?
Anyways, the squier really isn't that shitty but it was way over priced. I just got an SH-4 pickup for mine, they're not that expensive so that might be something to invest in. Oh and the strings are kinda shitty so you might wanna replace those too.

How much did you pay for it? I heard it was only around $250 which doesn't seem too bad for a signature guitar. Or do you mean overpriced for the quality?

Mine was like just over $400 and that's way overpriced for the quality of it IMO

he only used squire for propmotional gigs and vids
on tour and most gigs its the fender 71 delux - has two pickups

why is it always there's some noob who bumps topics?
there should be a notice when noobs register that says "do not bump topics" and goes on explaining what bumping topics is and why it's not tolerated

Heh, it would help if you spelt it correctly.
Only get the '72 Fender Telecaster Deluxe if you know how to play guitar. It's not for beginners.

I've been thinking about getting that guitar.. I've had a basic starter one for a while now, and was thinking of upgrading.. why not get the guitar the lead singer of my favorite band uses.

Well, Deryck's guitar isn't really much of an upgrade, it's more of a beginner-novice guitar if anything. Unless your guitar is a brand that is lower and Squier.

Haha I'm pretty sure mine is lower than a Squier. We got it at this local music store for like $99 .. but I'm pretty sure you could get it at any walmart.. It's called a "Slammer Hammer" .. haha.

Haha yep definitely .. I'm really thinking about it.. I also really like the Tom Delonge one , but it costs quite a bit more..
