ya it is kinda based on popularity, and its also based on sales. if its sold that means that a lot of people want it, therefore its "popular" but if you listen on the radio or countdowns, Sum 41 aren't on there.

they aren't popular in that perspective.

Alright, if you mean top lists on tv or whatever I guess...but all of the music charts are based on popularity.
