zomg, g fucking g avril. i cant wait for the next album when we'll get to see avril be a producer on it.
i think avril needs to leave deryck the fuck alone when he's writing song for the next album, and hopefully we'll hear something similar to DTLI.

I don't think so...I already think Avril had a lot of influence on UH with "With Me". I'd rather not have her influencing Deryck's song-writing, but if it makes him happy, oh well. I'll get over it.

It's understandable that some songs on Underclass Hero were influenced by Avril since they're newlyweds. I'm with d4rkst4r on a more Infected feel to the next album.

I don't know a lot of Avril songs so I couldn't say. Chord progression of the intros of With Me and Avril's Nobody's Fool kind of sound the same.

As long as Sum 41 keeps evolving, I'm happy. I remember in the Making of Chuck video it kind of starts off where Cone says "We try and make it a point not to record the same album over again."

And they did this so far! except for maybe HHOP and AKNF that sounded like two albums in the same style and vein, though they both were different too.
but its gonna be great to hear some original and new Sum 41 in the next album.

Nah, he doesn't really write songs for other people, and Avril's been doing this thing lately where she needs to actually sit down with the writer when they're writing for her and make some sort of contribution.
