My parents hate them. Because they were watching Introduction to Destruction with me... They were traumatized. But I still love these guys!

Wow! My parents, fortunately, have never seen Introduction to destruction or Road to ruin. I'm sure they weren't happy if they'd see it...

even though my sister absolutely hates them (she likes nickelback so i have learned to ignore her musical complaints) my mom has heard them but i don't think recognizes them. If i asked her what she thought about sum 41 she would reply "4+1, that equals 5"

I Played AKNF so much that my parents were forced into liking them back then 8)

lol my mum despises my music, my dad just shakes his head when i play any sum 41, hes more of a fan with the rolling stones, eric claptoon, supertramp and other progressive and soft rock like that, so when im blasting my chuck album hes kinda like "son turn that crap off and let me stick on 'Forty Licks'"

my mom and dad couldn't give a shit about sum 41.

I think my mom loves them.Or their music.
Everytime I play their songs on guitar,she comes into my romm and tells me how great it is.
I'm pretty much of a stranger to my dad so i don't know if he even knows about the guys.

All of you here who's got parents who like the sums, are lucky.

My parents pretty much hate them except for maybe "Pieces" which my mum liked.
Everytime i turn Sum songs loud in my room ,they tell me to keep it quite. In the car when i want to play it in the CD player, they just stop it and when i try to play it loud with my Mp4+speakerphones ,they tell me to shut it.

They pretty tell me everything i listen to is crap and noise, except for maybe Guns n' Roses's "November Rain", but even if it's the softest song ever, my dad still says that rock with guitars gives him a head ache. i can't understand my parents!!!

The only rock they listen to is Queen and if they combine lots of guitars, so my parenst start hating it too.
They like to listen to some crappy 80s pop ... and everything with guitars sounds to them like noise, even classics like Led Zeppelin and Guns N' Roses.

Altough when my mum entered my room while i saw Dave and Deryck's guitar lesson, he said Dave plays great and then i showed her some solos from like Master of Puppets cover and she said than altough the music is crap, the guitar playing is very good.
