Ask him if the sums will ever consider combining more experimental and different styles in their music.
For example, they said once Metallica was a major influence, so will they consider to do some heavy metal stuff and more instrumental and complex rock music in their punk.

-Who are your favorite guitarists to listen and enjoy their music, and who are the ones that influenced you the most?
-What was the band that influenced you the most for starting a punk band?
what is a punk band or actually another genre band?
-Do you see yourself in Sum 41 like in 10 years? or do you think that in the future you should get out and look for your own unique style and experience different styles of guitar playing and music, like Dave?
-Who are your favorite bands to listen?
-What was the best live show you saw?
-How was it working and performing with the great Iggy Pop?

As in the band? I doubt it since Pleasure left the band and Pain's dead. It's only Sniper and Gunner left now, and I don't think they could come back alone.

It would be cool to hear what Deryck thinks about that, but i think that he will probably will say the same, that if Dave would want to be back at least for even one performance, so i'm sure the guys will be happy to welcome him back.
Yet Dave is upset at all the MTV thing, so as long as the sums will get off the lights of MTV, i think we will have a future with Dave.
Dave and the sums are still friends from what he says.

for deryck: hearing that you want to have kids eventually, do you think that the way you grew up (especially with the lack of a dad/father figgure) will have a big impact on how you parent your kids, and in what ways would it?

who did you look up to as a kid, famous or not?

Why did you choose now to write about the subjects you did (like your father never being there, dave leaving i guess would be because he recently did, and getting more indepth with your inner demonds)? Why didnt you do it earlier? And did you think (at one point) that maybe you should of maybe waited another album or two before letting it all out?

And...there was a pixies sticker on your guitar at one time...is that the same "Pixies" the wrote "Where is My Mind"

for the whole band: If you could do a "dream" photo shoot...what would it be like. (Ex: Dressed up as the mario brothers running around...or some stupid shit like that)
