i think this is much more to do with the touring life. i highly doubt he's been eating healthy and that would be the worst part. doubt he's had much like...fruit and vegetable lately lol.. combined with probably less sleep and a lot of work.
alcohol would also have to do with it, don't know if he smokes atm or not though

You've seen the video on Sum41's Youtube right? And the paparazzo pics from last year, pretty obvious that he smokes, or atleast has been smoking during this time.

really hope he gets better soon, this tour was not supposed to be a repeat of the Underclass Hero Tour! hope that they make it back to sydney and other dates they had to cancel. It's been said, but Deryck should take better care of his health. he's probably in some sort of spiral from the divorce, which is why he drinks so much. might not be true, just my opinion.

stevo said they'll be back for the world tour, maybe they'll come back here first :P lol. well im hoping. but at least we won't have to wait years for them to be back

The only scary thing about that picture is that he's in a hospital sleeping, it's not like he's plugged to an artificial lung or anything. Still it sucks though, i've had pneumonia aswell and i felt like i was coughing up my lungs.

So I guess if he's going to be held there in the hospital in Sydney until he recovers, he's gonna be there at least for a week or two more.. I guess they'll be cancelling the US dates of March as well.
I hope this won't ruin the momentum of the album when it's released, the way all the momentum of UH was ruined when they cancelled dates due to Deryck's back.

I think the songs that gor released especialy Blood In My Eyes might keep the momentum alive

About this picture, I think they posted it in a kidding way. I mean, it's true that Deryck is very ill but is for sure that he'll gonna be fine very soon with a few antibiotics!! They're so jokers and I think someone took this picture while he was sleeping and turned it black&white just for dramatize, just kidding about. I think!
Anyway, I hope he gets over that fucking neumonia soon!

I think the reason they posted a picture of it was to show that it was a real deal, and not just an excuse to get the band some days off or anything.
