To be honest, I was into avril in the 6th grade :D songs like sk8er boy were cool back in those years :D and I am glad I was listening to this and not to some shitty hip hop or dance music :D I was on a good way to start listening Sum 41.. 2 years after this "Avril era" :D but my sis likes her and liked the last album, but she really doesn't like this new song.. (she's 14)

correction sk8er boi is still enjoyable, guess it's because i grow up listening her old stuff specially ums, there are a bunch of artists i'll always listen every once in a while and she's one of them, dunno if that makes any sense

it does for me.. I listen to her songs sometimes too, because it's part of my past really :D.. But not the latest album (althought I have to say - Everything Back But You is cool.. maybe because it sounds like What I believe xD)

I usually wouldn't complain about stupid popstars giving away their shit for free, but in her case the music is just so bad and it is such a desperate attempt at getting that song out and generating buzz about nothing

if anything, she should have released/leaked something A LOT BETTER ages ago, her career is literally dead for several years now.

I still listen to Avril a decent amount. I just listened to Under My Skin a few days ago. Calms me down when I"m in my emo stage.

Yeah it really sounds like a desperate attempt to get the song out there. And judged on the music they play on the radio nowadays, I think it'll be a hit. She lost a lot of fans during the best damn thing, and now she'll regain a lot of fans, mostly Kesha and Miley cyrus fans. -.- I'll still check out her album, you never know, maybe the rest of her songs are really good.

And.. I hope that it is the way someone said - that publisher forced Avril to create one catchy, poppy song and rest of her album will be different, because this is her worst song ever. I hope radios here won't play it. It is REALLY REALLY BAD.

why not ??? she likes to do the things that she is told ...she probably got religious

and the keyboard for the verses the worst shit I have ever heard from her

yeah but who cares ??? she was forced,okay...the band The Bridgeheads from Slovakia went to Britain to try to win recognition...after their album called Foreigners was out they were offered money to do what the guy offering money wanted them to do...they refused...it is as easy as that ...either you are for sale or not ...fuck,she had many options not to suck but those options wouldnt bring her the money,yeah ? XD
I will not listen to an album coming out of a person doing music the way the rich men want her to ...

yeah I know she had options but what I was trying to say is - if the whole album will be in this style, "punk princess" will be dead forever.

I remember publisher forced Avril to change A LOT of things on last album too. But I don't care about her that much.. But she could do great songs if she wanted to that pisses me of. She's got potential.

btw. it will be successfull song (What The Hell) I heard it once and I remember that chorus, it is catchy for little girls.. God I'll hear it in every bus from their phones..

I wish Devin would leave her band, he doesn't fit with them anymore, he's the only true musician there. He usually throws in some lead stuff he created, but I guess since it was a premier he couldn't add his flare
