Dude, there are ten other tracks in the album too! And like they've said many times, many songs on the album have both faster and softer parts.

We heard them play SBM in one of the tour updates and most of us thought that the riff played in update 33 was SBM so I picked a few other parts that I heard that sounded like they would fit in with the stuff that we heard..

I also picked the parts from heather's post(with the blanks) and guessed which part belonged to SBM or BIME

Yeah well, guessing is not the key.

We made up this thread so we could guess in the official SBM-thread. This one's made for real, or at least 'almost for sure'-information.

True this. Let's keep the speculations in the other thread, and only 100% facts here.

Most of that post is based on Heather's information.. the piano parts are the only things that I'm not sure of

Heather's information? She HEARD the song. No matter how hard she tries, she can't tell by words how the song goes.

I mean, let's pretend I've never heard any Sums before. I ask you to tell me by words only, how does, let's say, Welcome To Hell sound like. You describe it to me very specifically, and I believe I got a clear vision of how the song sounds like.
Later, I hear a Sum 41 song by random. The song sounds exactly like the one you've described, and I tell my friend next to me that I love this song, Welcome To Hell is so good. My friend says: "What are you talking about? This song's called King Of Contradiction"...

What I'm trying to say is that the band has said many times, that there are a lot of songs that have both fast and slow parts in that same song. So how can you possibly know which parts are from Blood In My Eyes, and which are from another song, when you haven't heard any of the songs before?

There are 14-ish tracks, and you're saying all the clips from studio updates are only from 3-4 songs?

Not to take anything from Heather, I appreciate her effort of describing the song. But unless she says she's 100% sure that specific part is from SBM or BIME, I consider those clips being only speculation.

i remember a twitter post a while ago that deryk had changed the name of the album again (was a joke), but tbh i wouldnt put it past them to re-record the entire thing. untill i have the album in my hand, the only think ill take as confirmed is the artist is Sum 41.

Same, ya can't trust nobody these days, they're all out to fool ya. I hope for a single this side of christmas They could say it was a long overdue present

Is there a way this thread can be locked and the first post can be edited by the mods accordingly as members get conrete info on the album? It's bound to get clogged with people discussing etc, which would just take away from its purpose.

Plus, the discussion thread will never break 200 pages if this one takes over!

sorry guys I was graduating college yesterday and couldn't comment on this. Like I've said before I tried to go back in the videos and find the songs, but I just remember bits and pieces. I know one started out with a piano and ended with a piano and both had a fast verse....but unless I maybe hear the song in its entirety again, I have no idea whats in the updates

I posted what I wrote down the minute I got back from the show in the first post, thats all I got, I can't confirm nor deny which song is which from those clips
