Honestly, I thought the store was pretty unimpressive.
I remember finding out about it by calling hldy clothing and asking a bunch of questions. And so I took the street car excitedly down Queen West (waaay down Queen West) and got there and was a little disappointed.
OMy is a split store. There is some other designer that shares the space, and its mostly that persons stuff. It's nothing like anything Deryck wears.
There is basically only one of everything for the hldy stuff, because it's hand made, it isn’t mass produced. If I had to guess, the shirts that are there are Deryck rejects. Designs that are kind of like what he would wear, but doesn’t.
If you’re looking for stuff that he wears, you’ll only find two shirts there. One of which is on the hldy website.
And things are insanely expensive. T-shirts $30, long sleeve $45, hoodies $65 and up.
Again hand made, almost one of a kinds…

What I have alwaaaays wanted is the hoodie Deryck has that is black with a whole bunch of letters in white jumbled together, but spell out “I don’t want to be like you.”

It’s not hldy, I asked. And I can't find it anywhere.

Nor will he make shirts that he already made for Deryck for you. I asked. But he did say he might make more of something he’s worn “in the near future.”

Here's the kind of crap sold in the rest of the store...
(I searched it)
This "mini mag" is the exact logo of the store, and has a whole bunch of shirts like the non-hldy shirts also in the store.

http://www.omyminimag.com

Just as a reference point, not really much help...

Well under the 'contributer' section on the website, there's Stevo.
There was a profile on Sum in there once.
There was a pic of Deryck in a hldy ad...
And then the operation MD profile...

Possibly other stuff, I havent seen all copies of the mag.

I just ordered this shirt (http://www.killthe8.com/HLDY/pages/757/)

Its the closest thing that I can buy that he might wear since their out of pine box. I'm so going to go drive that store where deryck buy his clothes. Maybe if you camp out there, you can catch his walking in or something? he might have a runner for him to do errands though.

yea, i bought the small size, since im small built. Damn, whats wrong with deryck, he could make so much money if he made a clothing line of what he actually wears. i would buy it.

I actually just got an email back from HLDY.....

True quote from them here....

" Hi Kevin,

Thanks for your inquiry. In order to track your purchase, I will need the order number you received in your confirmation email, along with the product you purchased.
As far as the Hldy shirts are concerned, unfortunately there are no plans to produce any more at this time.

Thanks so much Kevin, and I look forward to hearing from you soon!
