well, I smile upon some posts of the people here too, but it's understandable, it's a Sum 41 website and there's too many people here who will always say that Sum 41 is the best band in the world, the most original band, Deryck is the best lyricist of all, and although they're wrong in all of those three options, it's understandable, cause they just love Sum 41...

I personally can't stop listening the old music now, but also the new bands with potential, many of which are the bands you like, Brand New or Anberlin, but I don't wanna forget Sum 41, the one and only band that brought me to some good music

I don't want to throw this topic off of the discussion of my good looks, but I'd like to tell you that Anberlin really isn't on my playlist anymore lol. I suggest checking out my last.fm page, although a lot of the music is also bad on there, but whatever.

It's because they're bad. They were a phase band for me. I don't listen to them anymore. A lot of those bands are guilty pleasures. I suggest checking out bands like letlive., Balance and Composure, Man Overboard (they're like the new blink-182, sort of... the song "Real Talk" is my favorite), I Can Make a Mess Like Nobodies Business, Mansions..

I listen to the Balance and Composure since you've posted them in the Samueel's music recommendation thread(I think), I also know Letlive and Mand Overboard, but never heard about the last two bands, gonna check them out!
