yea, my parents hate them! but if you can build a career out of tattooing, and are happy with it, then I'm sure she will be happy for youJanet wrote:Yeah, i guess i didn't expect it from my mom. She still hates tattoos though, but so do most parents, i guess.bobbyjames wrote:that's awesome news!Janet wrote:Holy shit, i just talked to my mother about wanting to become a tattoo artist.
Before that, i kindly asked her to put away all sharp objects before telling her, because, who knows, right? Anyway, she took it well, i was kinda fearing something in the lines of "you're not my daughter anymore", so it went pretty well.
She only asked me to not drop studying, so i'm going to Estonia's Art Academy for a bachelor's degree in arts, which i happily agreed with, actually. After that i can do whatever i want. I love my parents.
Also, her last request, or an order, even, was : "Never date another artist. NEVER. If you will, i'll not accept him and i'll kill you. " It was...interesting, haha.
also, good job I'm not an artist
Yeah, that was pretty much what she said and that she accepts that i have my own life to run. Which is the complete opposite of how she's behaved all my life. I still have to talk to my dad, but that's a piece of cake. Weird how perfect everything worked out.bobbyjames wrote: yea, my parents hate them! but if you can build a career out of tattooing, and are happy with it, then I'm sure she will be happy for you
I knew you would be surprised :P I was also surprised with how fast it arrived considering the Estonian Post bitching about how many packages they have and how they're way too busy until at least February.samueeL wrote:Haha actually I flinched 'cause of them! Yeah, it came pretty quick.. It had 'Priority' sticker on it! How cool is that.Janet wrote:I knew you would be surprised :P I was also surprised with how fast it arrived considering the Estonian Post bitching about how many packages they have and how they're way too busy until at least February.
Also, noticed the little heartagram i made? :D
I'm glad to see everything is working out for you now, and your dreams are at the beginning of becoming reality!Janet wrote:Yeah, that was pretty much what she said and that she accepts that i have my own life to run. i'm not sure if i did the right choiceSara wrote:I have no idea what I want to study in college. And it gives me a headache just thinking about it. I used to know what I wanted, but now I'm just confused.
How'd you guys manage? Do you really end up choosing what you truly want and not regret it?
Priority? Really? I didn't pay or ask for it to be priority, i guess there's only one explanation..I am god. :DsamueeL wrote:Yeah, it came pretty quick.. It had 'Priority' sticker on it! Haha, yeah :D You're truly Him fan!
Hmmm, i think sending a letter to Sweden doesn't really cost more than sending one to Finland, so why not! Of course if i finish all of the current projects, especially the 4-5 paying one's.Emil wrote:I want a drawing! My dad don't care what we do as logn as we doesn't vote on the socialists parties. Then you shouldn't get anything, dude. You might regret it. I have a few pretty good ideas for myself, i'm going to get them next winter, because in the summer they have more chance of getting infected. I'm probably going to draw the ideas down first.Boni Boy Blue wrote:I was going to get a tatoo but I'm far to picky and don't actually know what I want.
Well, my idea came like lightning from a clear sky. I know what i love and i decided pursue it, because hey, we only got one life, right?Sara wrote:I have no idea what I want to study in college. I personally love japanese style tattoos which often have dragons, or koi fish and they're really brightly colored.
I would love to get like a really cool painting of Kurt Cobain. I would never bother paying for art but your pictures are just so awesome i'm willing to pay.Janet wrote:Hmmm, i think sending a letter to Sweden doesn't really cost more than sending one to Finland, so why not!
