Holy shit, i just talked to my mother about wanting to become a tattoo artist.
Before that, i kindly asked her to put away all sharp objects before telling her, because, who knows, right? Anyway, she took it well, i was kinda fearing something in the lines of "you're not my daughter anymore", so it went pretty well.
She only asked me to not drop studying, so i'm going to Estonia's Art Academy for a bachelor's degree in arts, which i happily agreed with, actually. After that i can do whatever i want. I love my parents.
Also, her last request, or an order, even, was : "Never date another artist. NEVER. If you will, i'll not accept him and i'll kill you. " It was...interesting, haha.

Haha, that's kind of like my situation. I want to go into acting school, but my parents want me to get a job where I make enough money to support myself, so that's why I work at the hospital. Now that I'm done school for that, I can do whatever I want!
