i used to use my dads player when i first started collecting, then i finally bought myself one. though i don't really want to in herit my dad's collection, he had a horrid and shameful taste in music when he was a nipper. lol.

My dad has a record player as well. I'm afraid that I would wreck it or something and I'm sure he would just want me to stay away from it, haha. I wouldn't mind having some of my dad's old records. I think he's got some of his brother's too because there's some of The Clash, Guns N' Roses, Alice Cooper whereas my dad listened to The Beatles, The Eagles, The Beach Boys... etc.

Wow, bobby, thats a nice collection right there. Yeah, I wish I would have a player so I would have a reason to even buy those haha. I think my grandpa might have a player somewhere, but I don't think he has any cool vinyls really.

my dad's got 90+ pounds of vinyl. it was in the crawl space under the house. i almost died trying to bring it up. no way it's going back down.

my dad's got an awesome taste in music. Judas Priest, ACDC, The Cars, Pat Benatar, Golden Earring, Scorpions... all good stuff. i highly doubt he'll ever give it all to me.

Here's my dad's collection. I have no idea what most of them are though, I've never actually gone through them all.

vinyls are so cool. they only reason they went out in style was because you can't play them in a car. :/

OH so those huge ones are vinyls.. i used to have one, Land Before Time but it's a movie, so is it still counted as a vinyl?

My dad listens to Pink Floyd. It's his best band evahr. He also listens to Deep Purple, Scorpions, Oasis, Supertramp... yeah.
I found out recently he had a Metallica album (the black album), and when I put it in the stereo to listen to it, turns out he recorded some shitty song over it. Hoar.
