That's cause blink was MCA's cashcow, from what i heard the success with Enema was what kept MCA going for another 4 years. Sum 41 has never been a cashcow even AKNF "only" sold 2 million copies.
I know why it is ...that's why I wrote I am sorry for the way it is ...they should leave that fucking label...
Pretty dumb of them to sign such a long record deal.
yeah ...but maybe they didn't have a choice...or they were just happy that someone wanted to advertise their music and make it all big ...and the times back then IR were not so obsessed by the biggest shit ever made in music industry, were they ? :P
They are leaving IR after the upcoming album

There were some problems at the label and things were a mess. As hard as it may be, we just have to be patient.

If they ever put out a special edition or something for this album, they should have a second disc that has the original demos/songs from the "EP that would've been." Almost like the Infected singles that had demos of Over My Head, Still Waiting... etc. It was cool to see how those songs evolved.

Yeah, that'd be a nice bonus!
Or a making of. I liked the UH one, but I prefered the one Blink 182 had. It was really amazing, seeing their brainstorm-sessions, writing their lyrics, trying them out. I missed that in the UH-one.

Is this in the current AP issue? I keep saying I'm gonna buy it but I probably will end up doing that today.
Really interesting interview! It's good to hear Deryck talk more in depth in his answers like here.

Where exactly?
Only thing I remember was Matt speculating that "the band is thinking of leaving the label after this album".

I'm pretty sure it was in an article about Operation M.D.
EDIT/ Got it, I guess.
“Well, Sum 41 is leaving Aquarius,†explains McCaslin.

EDIT 2/ But that's for Canada, probably.

Note to self: Page count 146, No SBM album out yet.
Ontopic; If they leave IR, then how would they progress on the marketing in future? Anyone got a clue? I dont.

hey guys, sorry I haven't been very active lately, school has me swamped. I've reminded Matt about the Q&A I sent a couple times, but still haven't gotten the answers, I don't' think D has even seen it. I may send it to Cone instead so we at least get some answers..lol

Okay, I'm seriously going to freak out if we don't at least get a track listing soon.
