Spain is in the final. I can't believe it. I thought that the German team is unstoppable. Homewer I like Spain way better.

I don't think i'll enjoy the final the way I enjoyed yesterday's game. Spain was 10 times better, and could've scored more, but Villa was unlucky, and Pedro's lack of experience caused him the goal of his life.
I don't think Netherlands with their two quality players can beat the Spanish squad.

would be interesting to see if Spain start with Torres in the final or stick with Pedro. I think I'd rather see Pedro start, he was causing all sorts of problems for the German defence last night and is probably in better from than Torres right now despite playing less. if the Spanish can stop the Dutch midfield from playing like they did with Germany last night then they can easily win. they just need to keep the likes of Robben, Sneijder & Kuyt from going forward and keeping the ball. I think it will be a close game but Spain will come out on top.

Holland is a great team, they may not have the best players but they work as a team. That's why I think they're gonna win.

yea, Spain have a better team man for man, but Holland work so well as a squad. there's no "I" in "team"!

Robben won't have a problem owning Capdevilla, he's old and slow. So i think all the danger will come from his side, But Kuyt will struggle a bit with Ramos. I think Del Bosque will start with Torres, then he'll replace him with Pedro later on, although as you said, i'd rather see pedro start.

Torres has been useless in this tournament.

What the hell am i supposed to do now? Holland lost and Premier League won't start in another. Which will suck anyway cause Liverpool has been hijacked by some texans who think football is known as "soccer".

overall, wasn't the greatest final, but I still enjoyed it. I went into the game not really bothered who won, I was slightly leaning towards Spain though. by the end, I was dancing round my room when they scored, Holland can fuck off after last night. well, Van Bommel & De Jong anyway. and Robben actually. feel bad for Kuyt as he played fairly well most of the tournament, but there has to be a loser.

I was hoping for Holland, but they did play dirty.

It was a boring final. I like both teams, so I don't care about who is the champion, but because Van Bommel is such a big fag, I'm happy that Spain won the cup.

I dont like the style of Barcelona and that means that I dont like the style of Spain ...cause it is like 1000 short passes and then there is a chance ...but Casillas is my favorite goalkeeper of all time so I ma happy that he saved Spain ...btw Sneijder with Robben...thatás awesome to watch ...

I've changed the name of this thread so it's now just a general football thread. instead of having seperate threads for the various leagues across Europe, Champions League and the various International games, it will be easier keeping it all in one thread.
