I really think this will be an album that will please everybody.
I couldn't agree with you more. It's awesome that they're putting out as many updates as they are. For the Underclass Hero album they only had (as far as I can remember) two rehearsal videos and one studio update. This album, they've given us 5 or 6 updates from 2009, 13 pre-production videos, and 10 studio updates (so far).Zell1010 wrote:I've got to give a lot of credit to Sum 41 for these updates. Yeah, I think that's right. And the studio update was so brief it was unbelievable.Jeremy Kill wrote:I couldn't agree with you more. It's awesome that they're putting out as many updates as they are. This. And better be some individual shows too!bobbyjames wrote:HURRY UP AND ANNOUNCE SOME UK DATES!
This times infinity. I have a sneaky feeling they might play Reading and Leeds this year (perhaps Lock Up?)TomiT14 wrote:This. And better be some individual shows too!bobbyjames wrote:HURRY UP AND ANNOUNCE SOME UK DATES!
yea, I'm feeling that too, I bloody hope so! wouldn't mind them at Download too, as that's a couple of weeks before they start the Warped Tour, I just don't know if they're planning to still be in Europe at the start of JuneZell1010 wrote:This times infinity. Lock Up stage is the small one right?Zell1010 wrote:This times infinity. I have a sneaky feeling they might play Reading and Leeds this year (perhaps Lock Up?)TomiT14 wrote:This. And better be some individual shows too!bobbyjames wrote:HURRY UP AND ANNOUNCE SOME UK DATES!
yea, fairly small. it's a punk stage for 2 days and a dance stage for the 3rd.Emil wrote:Lock Up stage is the small one right?Zell1010 wrote:This times infinity. It's the 3rd biggest stage, and normally on Friday and Saturday it's for the punk acts. The thing is Sum 41 aren't as big as they were in the UK imo. Billy Talent, Rise Against and Anti Flag have all played it and I see them on the same level in terms of popularity now.Emil wrote:Lock Up stage is the small one right?Zell1010 wrote:This times infinity. and they also played another set the same day on the Lock Up stage. Jimmy Eat World did the same thing on 07 by playing 2 sets. I can see Sum 41 playing the main stage the same day as Blink 182 tbh, they could have a few "pop punk" bands playing that day with Blink, which would be pretty cool. if not then a failry high up slot on the Lock Up stage would work quite well.Zell1010 wrote:It's the 3rd biggest stage, and normally on Friday and Saturday it's for the punk acts. Having said that, Anti Flag opened up the mainstage at Reading 08

Yeah, or they could do what Anti Flag did in 08, open up main stage on Friday/Saturday and play Lock Up headlining spot the same day. But if Blink 182 are there then Sums before Blink would be good.bobbyjames wrote:and they also played another set the same day on the Lock Up stage.
