The interview was published today a few hours ago but the interview took place about a month ago.

They might also just be playing down expectations for the release date and then release it August 31st anyway (or whatever it is on Amazon), so everybody gets the feeling of a happy surprise. May be they don't even know about it and the label is fooling them as well. I just think it's a shame that the band's reputation is now going down because these idiots can't make the 12 minute song available as they let the band promise.

There's a 12 min song that will also be released, Skumfuk was leaked by some interview site & Nic got it. And the album is not coming out in August.

I think that if the band was to make us pay for the song, it would come out quicker. That's what's goin' through my mind right now about it.

This. The label would rather make the profit off of it by posting it on iTunes rather than Sum 41's myspace or official website.

it was a loong time ago ...according to last informations,everything is recorded,album is getting mixed and label is trying to find the best date to release it ..
