I'm kind of hoping that each album will vary in the music style, even just slightly. I just see myself getting bored with these albums if they are all just rock 'n roll, Foxboro Hot Tubs style of music.

I agree. No matter how much material a band puts out, the quantity could kill the quality in the long run.

I know I probably shouldn't go off these little previews, but it already sounds boring to me, haha. However, it does sound like something Green Day would write. I hope I'm surprised.

Well, I dunno. Quite okay I guess. Nothing spectacular for me, at least for a first listen.

EDIT: Damn, beat me to it.

EDIT2: Okay, it's kinda boring, especially for a single. I really hope the rest of the album(s) is much more energetic.

Btw, video is in 3D, so if you happen to have 3D glasses..

To be honest Oh Love wasn't a great choice for a single. I like the song, but for those of you who have heard Stay the Night, Nuclear Family and Carpe Diem, you'll all agree that all of those are much better songs. I assumed all three of those would be singles, seeing as they're the best three songs off the album.

after listening to it 3 times very loud through good headphones, i can say i actually really like it, its laid back relaxing, its simple, good, old fashioned rocknroll, its not my favorite song ive ever heard from them but i can still see myself listening to this over and ove again.

lol i want singles like "basket case" ,"nice guys finish last" , "geek stink breath" ,"brain stew" , "longview" .... but i'm pretty sure it won't happen :sosad: damn i miss those kind of songs .
Well i'm very positive about the 3 albums , they seem better than american idiot and 21st century to me. And more like songs the real Green Day would write ...

So Uno! is available for pre-order on iTunes - but they've let slip which songs are going to be singles! The 'deluxe' version of Uno includes the official music videos from Oh Love, Stay the Night, Let Yourself Go & Kill the DJ.

I'm really surprised at GD's choice of singles for this album - Oh Love wasn't exactly the best choice, and though I haven't heard LYG or KTDJ, they'd have to be damn good to top Nuclear Family and Carpe Diem. I am astounded that neither NF or CD made singles. Bah, at least we know we have some solid songs on the album, singles or not.

Anyone remember the 20ish second video saying Oh Love will be up on Monday on YouTube? I thought the music in that video was Oh Love. It sounded much better than this song. Not happy at all.

Oh Love? Oh, man. You know it's not a good sign when the thought of, "When the hell is this song going to end?" comes to mind.
