LOL I wpulsve loved to meet chuckles but we were only in Wyoming for a little bit. Yellowstone is absolutely gorgeous! Everyone should go there at least once in their life. I'll give you a breakdown of where we've been.
Wednesday - left Saskatchewan, entered Montana, slept in forsythe
Thursday - left for billings, did some shopping and eating ( golden corral is my new favourite restaurant) and drove to the edge of yellowstone.
Friday - entered Wyoming and yellowstone, saw many bison and elk even on the road sometimes. Also saw mammoth hotsprings and old faithful ( geyser). Slept in yellowstone at Madison camp ground.
Saturday - left yellowstone, entered Montana for about 15 minutes then into Idaho and Utah, where we currently are camping.
Today ( Saturday) we experienced some truck trouble. First it kept stalling from a combination of overheating and too much suction in the gas tank. We fixed that and as we came to our current location the alternator is starting to crap out. My dad left the camper here and went to a parts store to get another alternator. We should be good to go down to las vegas tomorrow, sleep there and do some sightseeing there.

In the mountains it's about 0 to 10 degrees celcius and in las vegas it's supposed to be 40 degrees celcius.

Hopefully I'll get to talk to you guys again tomorrow, there should be wifi in vegas.

so ya, the trip was great. went from sask into Montana> Yellowstone + Old Faithful + Geysers (Wyoming) >Idaho> Utah > Las Vegas (Nevada)>Hoover Dam (Nevada/Arizona)> Grand Canyon>back to Las Vegas> back up to Utah> then to Colorado> then through Wyoming, Montana and back home. our truck completely died half way through Wyoming and we had to leave it there and take a Uhaul home and come back for it later.

despite being stranded for a day, i really had a great time. Wyoming has got to be one of the most beautiful states i've been in. it has such a wide range of landscapes and wildlife. but my favourite part was the Grand Canyon. guys, if you ever get the chance, go to the Grand Canyon. it's amazing that that big a (basically) hole in the ground just happens, what seems like out of nowhere.
