You go to Viridian City and talk to the old man who teaches you how to catch. Then fly to Cinnabar Island and surf to the eastern part where you'll surf half-land and water. Go around until you encounter a wild pokemon who Missingno. Battle it and he 4th (or something like that) item on your bag will have x100 quantity.
I didnt copy-paste that. It's stock knowledge.

You need to have a rare candy in the 6th slot in your items first. You talk to the guy in Vermillion who teaches you how to catch a Pokemon. When he asks if you want to see how it's done, you say "Yes". After he shows you, you fly down to Cinnibar Island and surf along the coastline of the island. Go up and down in a straight line (don't go out further into the water) until you encounter a Pokemon called "Missingno." You can't miss it, it looks like a microchip. Don't battle it, don't catch it, just run away. After that is all done, check your items and the rare candy should have a glitchy image where the amount should be. Technically, it's not really infinite... more like getting 200 rare candies or something. But you can do it with master balls and other items as well that are too expensive to buy. It only works on Red and Blue, but it's sweet.
